As the story goes:

The trolls had been throwing the same party in the same mountain for about nine hundred years, and the music had never changed. It started quietly, crept along at the speed of a nervous librarian, and got faster until somebody ran out of breath.

Then a young troll showed up with a conga drum and a very bad idea, and the mountain king, who had never once been asked to dance, found his hips doing something his crown was not prepared for.

By the time the hall reached full speed the whole place was in a Latin groove, with trolls in a conga line out the front door, and the only one who looked unhappy was Peer Gynt, who had just been chased across the entire mountain by a party.

Nobody knows if he ever got out, but the neighbors say the music still starts quietly around midnight and the drums come in right around the part where you decide to leave.
